It’s 27th October 2010 … The time is 9:48pm.

This review is about the movie ‘Water Boy’, which was reeased in 30th April 1998. The movie was directed by Frank Coraci and was written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. The review which it was given is a 5.7 out of 10 by people who viewed it.

The movie is about a boy which supplies water to a football team. However when he gets fired he tried to get a job as a water boy for his favourite wrestler; however when he was unable to he found a job and is laughed at by everyone. He finds a job being a water boy for a underachieving high school football team, but it doesn’t last long because he becomes a member of the football team.

Through the football he learns to transfer his anger and hatred towards everyone through football tackles. He accomplish this by concentrating all the anger which was shown towards him during his life on the players.

However, his mother doesn’t approve of him playing football, seeing the girl or going to school. So he goes behind her back, trying his hardest to hide all these from his mother. But when his old team sees his success they decide to ruin his dream and make him look like a fake. To which his coach is trying to help him by making him take a test which gives him high school qualifications and the ability to play football.

When his mother finds out about his football career, girlfriend and his education she pretends to be ill and makes him feel guily. So he quits football, breaks up with his girlfriend and quits schol. But then when the whole city govers to try and convince him to go back to football his mother tells him the true story of his childhood and the reasons why she didn’t want him to play football, have a girlfriend and go to school.

She then helps him to get his girlfriend back and play football again. To help his team, he helps the coach to quit being afraid of his enemy. This helps them win the championship game and tell his girlfriend he loves her.

At the end of the movie we see him and his girlfriend getting married. Then his father comes in and we see who from he got his tackling skills.
